A Spanish wedding tradition which happens before the wedding ceremony involves the groom giving his bride thirteen coins. The gift represents his commitment to her. The bride then carries the coins to the wedding ceremony. Other wedding traditions include the money dance which involves guests paying money to dance with the bride. Also the groom’s tie and bride’s garter maybe auctioned off to raise money for the newlyweds.
