Celtic Heart Weddings
The Scots share many of Irish’s traditions and rituals when it comes to weddings but, they do have some of their own. A wedding tradition that is considered bad luck to both countries occurs when a wedding party crosses paths with a funeral procession. The wedding party must then turn around and re-start their trip again. One of the most famous Scottish traditions involves the bride and groom tying their wedding tartan strips together in a knot, symbolizing the joining of their clans.
