A four day ritual
Traditionally weddings in Pakistan last for four days. The first two days are celebration days; on the first day the bride’s and groom’s families dress in yellow and celebrate the upcoming wedding. The bride and groom do not see each other after this day until the ceremony. On the second day the groom’s family delivers the wedding dress to the bride’s family and then her family delivers the groom’s wedding attire. The third day the actual wedding ceremony takes place and on the fourth day the newlyweds host their first dinner which is attended by all the guests.
