A Traditional Wedding Gown and Crown
At Norwegian weddings the groom wears a traditional hand-made suit known as a “Bunads”. The bride wears a traditional white or silver wedding gown and she also wears a silver or gold crown. Hanging off the crown will be small spoon-shaped bangles, which chime when the bride moves her head. Norwegian’s believe the sound will ward away evil spirits.
