Work Through the Obstacles
Italy is full of wedding traditions with many being unique to specific regions of the country. The area of Italy called Trento, has a tradition that tests the character of the couple on their wedding day. The couple starts of by walking to the chapel and along the way the town’s people place obstacles in their way. The test is to see how they handle and deal with these obstacles. For example if the bride picks up a broom she is meant to keep a clean home.
