A Difficult First Night
The German’s have many wedding traditions including the honking of the horn after the wedding. Members of the wedding party and wedding guests form a procession through the town honking their horns, onlookers honk back wishing the newly married couple good luck. The couple’s first night is normally made difficult with guests playing cruel jokes on them from filling the room with balloons to hiding alarm clocks throughout the room.
